VTech Laser 128EX
The Video Technology Laser 128EX was released around 1987 and was meant
as an Apple IIc and Apple IIe compatible system. It includes a built-in
5-1/4" floppy, serial and paralell ports, both 40 and 80 coloumn video as
well as both color and mono video modes. On the rear panel, it has two
serial ports, a parallel port, joystick/mouse port, video out, as well as
a video expansion port, and an external drive port. On the left side, there
is also an expansion connector. It is said that the 128EX will run most
Apple IIc/e software, though it appears that it may have had severe quality
problems during it's production run due to me having seen numerous mention
of poor quality.
