The Softcard III was produced by Microsoft as the Apple III specific version of it's Softcard product. The Sofcard was produced for the Apple II series and gave them the ability to run the CP/M operating system and included a Z-80 cpu with 64k RAM. The Softcard was Microsoft's first hardware product and was introduced in April 1980.
